EMT RefresherEvery practicing EMT must renew his or her certification every two years. Our refresher course combines online modules you'll complete at your own pace with hands-on skills instruction to keep you up to date on state-of-the-art patient care and the latest protocols.The in-class and skills portion occurs over three weekend days. Within 1-2 business days after you register, you'll receive an email with instructions for the online portion, which we recommend you complete prior to attending the course. EMTs with certifications that have expired may recertify if the date of expiration was less than two (2) years ago. If the expiration date of your EMT certification is greater than six (6) months, additional CEUs and testing requirements may apply. Please contact our office for additional recertification requirements if your certification has expired and you are between six (6) months and two (2) years after your expiration date. This EMT Refresher course meets the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians' transition requirement for NREMT-B to NREMT. |
